Do you supply the jars, bottles or boxes?
No. TrestleCo is a printing service for customer-supplied items. You provide every jar, bottle, lid, container or box you want printed. The examples on our website show printing possibilities, not packaging for sale.
Can you print on my item?
Tell us the material, dimensions, shape and area you want printed. We have tested items including small boxes, glass jars, lids, wood and cork, but every item is different. Start with a free item review. If your item is suitable for a physical test, we will invite you to send two matching samples. The test determines whether the item is compatible; initial review is not a guarantee.
How does the sample test work?
Submit the request form above for a free review, with your item details, a photo or product link if available, and artwork if you have it. No payment or shipping is needed for this first step. After approval for testing, we confirm the $59 Project Setup & Print Test package, return-shipping cost and shipping instructions. You then send two identical, empty, clean items. Please do not send samples or a full batch before approval.
What does the $59 setup-and-test fee include?
The package covers basic sizing and placement of your ready-to-print artwork, printer setup and compatibility testing using two matching customer-supplied items. It includes one small design, one item type and one print location. New logo creation, rebuilding an ingredient list, extra print locations or other work outside this package is quoted separately for approval before work starts. The fee pays for setup and testing, not for containers or two guaranteed finished-quality pieces. It is not a per-item printing price; production printing is quoted separately.
Will I receive a credit if I place an order?
Yes. After your paid sample test, receive a $25 credit toward your first production printing order of $150 or more in printing charges, before the credit and excluding shipping. Shipping charges are not covered by the credit. The $150 threshold qualifies the order for the credit; it is not a minimum order requirement. You are under no obligation to place a production order.
How does sample shipping work?
You arrange and pay for shipping the two approved samples to TrestleCo. We arrange shipping both items back at a separately quoted cost. Share your shipping ZIP code and packed dimensions and weight so we can quote return postage before payment; we aim to collect it alongside the setup fee. If different packaging changes that quote, we confirm any adjustment with you first. A prepaid return label is welcome but not required. We operate by shipping only, with no local pickup or drop-off.
Do you return both samples, even if testing is unsuccessful?
Yes. Both items are returned, including the test piece and any unsuccessful test prints. Testing may leave permanent marks, and two finished-quality pieces are not guaranteed. The setup-and-test fee covers the work performed even if the material proves unsuitable. Return shipping is separate, and a prepaid return label is optional.
What logo file should I upload?
A vector SVG or print-ready PDF is preferred. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background can also be useful. The form accepts PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, SVG, HEIC and GIF files under 20 MB. Send the original artwork when possible, rather than a screenshot. We review file quality, size and print suitability before production; uploading a file does not automatically make it print-ready.
What if I do not have my artwork ready?
You can still submit a request. The logo upload is optional. Tell us what you have and what you want printed, and we will let you know what artwork is needed. If your file will not upload, email trestleco@yahoo.com for help.
What will my order cost, and how long will it take?
For orders of 50 or more, production printing starts at $1.50 per item for a small, simple logo in one print location on approved, customer-supplied items. Orders of 1–49 items, larger designs, ingredient lists and additional print locations are quoted individually. Setup/testing and shipping are separate. Final pricing and timing depend on the item, material, print area, artwork, quantity and testing requirements. Include your quantity and needed-by date in the form. We will confirm the quote and schedule with you before production; a requested date is not a confirmed deadline.
Do I approve the design before printing?
Yes. You will review the artwork placement, quantity and pricing before production begins. We will also discuss the sample test results and any limitations of your item.
Can I pick up or drop off my order locally?
No. We operate by shipping only and do not offer local pickup. We will coordinate sample and order shipping with you after reviewing your request.
